I used to work for this Uhm...company. It is the usual practice to carry the windshield.."just in case" the glass breaks in your vehicle while repairing a chip or crack. I do agree that most of them (management) haven't a clue in customer or employee service. I personally had 2 TWO shield replaced and I was totally put off by them and their product. My new trail blazer was basically molested. The moldings no longer fit and they scratched my paint and my ranger not only had one leak but TWO (1" wide and 8" wide) I no longer work for them and I will NOT use or recommend them!!!!!!!

I had a nice crack on my FJ cruiser front windshield. Unfortunately, there were other repair shops that had poor reviews as well, so I rolled the dice with this company (as I did read all the reviews for this company as well). I thought maybe if I took it to their shop, it would be easier for them and there would be less headaches on my end. They had the entire morning (since 8:00 people)...to work on my vehicle. I got there at 12:30ish and inspect the vehicle prior to paying for the service...I found that the two vinyl flaps on the very right hand and left hand sides where completely loose and a piece of my FJ cruiser came off with using just my hands as it was completely loose. It came right off! I asked the customer service manager, and he said they were out to lunch. I waited (as it was my lunch hour too). Then he told me the guy was out there. No one was out there as I checked it again, and it was loose again. I asked who worked on my vehicle, and he said, "that's normal" for it to be loose like that. Are you kidding me??? He said, I can add glue to it if I want - I said yes..he had an attitude about it. Don't these people get it??? If it were their car wouldn't you care??? Such poor quality service...and I accomodated them by bringing it to THEIR shop!!

Had an appointment, and they did not show. Was given a 4 hour window...waited all day...and after my window of time had come and gone I called to see what the update would be. They say they never showed me on the schedule. I had an email confirmation, work order number, and they still denied I ever had an appointment. They said they could fit me in 5 days from then!!!! My car was completely undriveable, and they BONED me, and then couldn't fit me in any sooner!?!?!? Unaccepatable...DON"T USE THEM!!
EXPENSIVE!! (It made me choose at least one star...)

I was really upset when I heard that my insurance would not cover glass damage. Safelite (who happened to have a &quot;deal&quot; with my insurance company) said they would give me a &quot;discounted rate&quot; of almost $300.00!! Come to find out, their competitor's REGULAR rate was about HALF the price of their &quot;discount.&quot; GO ELSE WHERE, unless of course you like to pay more than necessary.
